A Snowlady for Isobel!
Yesterday we got about three inches of heavy, wet snow. I've been trying to make a snowman all winter and the conditions have never been right. So, I grabbed the chance to make one for Izzy. Two hours later the temp had risen to 34 degrees and she lost her head so it was a good thing I took the pictures right away!

Norwegian Sweater
I found this Dale of Norway sweater at our local consignment shop for $15. It is like new and was probably about $200 when bought. It will be perfect for Erin.

A photo from Per
The Rykals gave Per, Claudia and me a pontoon ride on the Chetek chain while he was here. It was a gorgeous day and the fall leaves were at their peak.

Per's first visit to Wisconsin
My 2nd cousin, Per Hvidsten, from Norway spent three days visiting with family. Although he has been in the states three time, this was his first visit to WI When we were in Norway we were invited up to Per's house for lunch with many relatives.
The pictures were taken on My Grandpa & Grandma Severson's farm, on Rykal's pontoon, in Duluth with another 2nd cousin, Dee Sneen, at home after dinner, in front of the Sand Creek Cafe' and and Mall of America with the rest of Per's group from Norway.

Topper met a new friend during the kitchen remodeling. Her name was Lucy and she belonged to the carpenter who installed the cabinets. Topper was smitten, but Lucy quickly put him in his place!
